Sensor Sensitivity
Select a sensor to compute its RAW RGB to XYZ camera matrix. The underlying method is based on Physlight which minimizes the difference between the camera XYZ (using the matrix) and the reference XYZ (using the 1931 observer) for a set of spectral colors (from rawtoaces dataset). As an improvement, here, we minimize the color difference (delta E) between the Lab values of the camera XYZ and the Lab values of the reference XYZ with a non-linear optimization using the matrix from the previous step as an initial guess. The solver takes a bit of time so be patient.

RGB Camera to XYZ Matrix
Color difference (D65 illuminant, sRGB D65 color space, ΔE 2000)
Left is camera, right is 1931 2° observer. ΔE larger than 2 is highlighted in red.
